Nice atmosphere, dark but comfortable. Enough seating that we didn't have to wait, but it wasn't very busy. I'm not positive, but I think there was only one server with a couple of helpers. It wasn't an issue until we wanted our check. Everything else came out on time. The food was interesting. Entrees were expensive so we opted for burgers and happy our appetizers. The cheese fries were legit! I also really liked the pork sliders. Definitely had the classic Austin vibe.
Very good. Brunch was busy but they have it well organized. Food came pretty fast once we ordered. Cute cozy place. The violinist was great! Added a really nice touch to our brunch. Had the chicken and waffles... Tender and crispy.
This was my second time here. The food was just as great as the first time. I had the Skillet vegetable hash and my girl had the Hideaway breakfast. She really enjoyed hers. Also the blueberry jelly is amazing.
We are in Austin for a professional conference and ate at the Hideaway twice, once for brunch and once for dinner. Both times they were really busy with the influx of people, but handled it well and the food was excellent and the drink selection was varied and good.
When we got there for dinner they just had a huge influx of people, and although we waited to put our order in for a bit the staff were very gracious and apologetic, and once the order was in the food came out quickly and was delicious. The staff seemed to work really well together as a team and were considerate and polite and worked really hard to make sure we had a great experience.
