P. Terry's Burger Stand

Pretty decent burgers. Good fries. Excellent shakes.

I ordered the reg.cheeseburger. Always consistently good. Keep up the good food and friendly service.

P. Terry's is a chain of burger stands. We have visited several in the Austin area and have found the chain to be consistent, excellent service and quality food. Our visit to this location was later, after 10pm, but the service was still good and the food freshly prepared. My family loves the fries and shakes.

Burgers are ok. Fries aren't that good either (soggy and weird flavor).

The restaurant however is very nice on the outside but they need to have someone besides a disabled girl cleaning the interior during peak hours. The poor girl was left in tears when someone yelled at her for just standing around not doing anything. I think that was before they realized she has some sort of disability. The few empty tables were filthy with dried food and left over dirty napkins on them.

We do not frequent this part of Austin (Lakeway) often so not sure if this is a one time thing or the norm. I hope you use this review to adjust your cleaning schedule and personnel.

I gave you +2 stars (this would normally be a 1 star review) but thank you for employing the disabled. Please give her the support she needs to do her job and not be abused at work.

I always have to stop at P. Terry's when I'm in town. I usually get a double cheeseburger combo with a cookie but I tried the chicken burger last time and it was amazing. Their fries are better than any other fast food place too.
