Spicy and delicious Indian food with ample vegan and gluten free options served up fast, hot and cheap! Love the atmosphere created by the traditional instrumental Indian music. Decent WiFi and comfortable seats too.

Service was good, and they offered their suggestions for my first time here. Food was good!!! We will definitely make this a popular spot for our rotation of dinner places.

This is my favorite place ever. The chicken korma is to die for, and I am addicted. It's like the Chipotle of Indian food! If you've never been, their food tastes consistent throughout all of their locations, and the atmosphere is always Austin-spirited. A must try.

I guess I like fast food when it comes to Indian.
The hot green curry with lamb changed my life.
The rice is always done perfectly.
Vegetables are crisp not over cooked.
If my friends from India hadn’t told me it’s fast food and ruined my illusions I’d be happy. I’m trying to start enjoying the real stuff as often as I can to grow some new taste buds.

I still prefer Tarka’s green curry no matter how I try to educate myself.

Tarka is not only delicious but consistent. I like to think of them as a safe Indian food chain. You’re always gonna get something good and fresh. Not scary. I’ve tried everything on the menu. While some dishes shine over others, it’s worth the visit.
