Jason's Deli

This is definitely one of my favorite locations! Super friendly helpful staff, always bringing a welcoming sense to the place, which makes their super yummy food worth the stop. I will continue to come by for my lunches!

You know, the food here is always consistently delicious. Which I do appreciate, however, tonight I noticed something else. While I was eating, my boyfriend and I noticed how well the manager on duty was treating his staff. Everyone was able to take the time to sit and eat while her covered their stations. At one point, an employee stood up to help a customer, and the manager motioned his to sit down and finish his dinner while the manager helped the guest. It just showed a man with truly great skills on how to treat staff. That will make me come back again.

I always enjoy the salad bar. It was my first time back in a while and I excitedly picked up a number of what I assumed were pumpernickel mini muffins and dropped them into my tomato soup to soak up a bit. Turns out they were gingerbread. Enter the most delicious bowl of tomato soup I've ever eaten, which I can only assume was due to the gingerbread croutons I had accidentally added.

Like a flood, the memory of each time I had made the same mistake in the past came into my mind's eye. Like suppressed memories they surfaced - broccoli cheese, south west corn chowder, beef and barley... all made even more delicious via the addition of a misidentified mini muffin, all forgotten.

Always a 5 star visit with Jason's Deli. Clean, well cared for dining room, expansive menu, and the best salad bar in all of creation. Such value too! It's our go-to for a casual, convenient, and healthy family meal out.
