The Carpenter Hotel

Great hotel! If your room is 210 or below the kitchen noise at 12:30am and 6:30am may be a bit much, these rooms face the kitchen clean and prep areas and can get noisy. Other than that it is clean, and interesting. Overall a good stay.

Very nice. Everything is beautiful and cool. Everything was nice and in good order. The sliding wood slap will make your room DARK! You could easily miss it...it is behind the wardrobe cabinet.

There is a turn table in the lobby, and a collection of records. Go for it I'm a Led Zeppelin II side 2 guy, so that's what I out on.

Restaurant and bar are both nice. Migas for breakfast was outstanding.

My only real negative is too much concrete in the guest room. I loved the bed though!

This place is awesome. It was the most relaxing hotel I've ever stayed at. Parking was ridiculously easy, check in was a breeze and the service was beyond amazing. I enjoyed the restaurant and loved the food/drink side service at the beautiful pool. Anytime I'm in Austin I'll be going here, and I'm so thankful I found this gem. PS the beds are really comfortable too ????

Loved loved loved this place. I felt very comfortable, safe and relaxed. This place is close enough to downtown yet far enough to not be all up in the traffic. You can walk our ride a scooter to just about anywhere you want to sight see. Only downside was there wasn't enough room in the mini fridge to put any snacks or leftovers. You'll want to check out their cafe! Steak is amazing and their clam spaghetti is amazing. Food was AMAZING!
Staff was so helpful when it came to exploring Austin.
