Martinez Tacos

These are the best tacos I've had since coming to Texas.

I was so impressed by the quality of food and service when I arrived at the location. I order 2 tacos de maiz filled with bistec, grilled onion fresh cilantro and aguacate. It came with a side of freshly sliced radishes and pickled cucumbers. The owner is Mr. Artemio who is also the chef. He personally delivered our food to the table. After eating I walked up to thank him and he mentioned his wife seasonally making tamales and also bakes cakes. I will definitely be back for the tamales and look forward to tasting some of his wives cakes.

A solid four stars. I will be returning.

Delicious, authentic Mexican eats. I find it runs a little more expensive than the many other spots on North lamar, but it's worth it. They provide radish, cucumber and grilled onions on every plate and the green salsa was a game changer!

The woman working was incredibly sweet despite the language barrier!

Tacos are cheap and tasty and there's rarely a line.

I always get two Especiales--steak and cheese with a slice of avocado. They warm the tortillas on the comal, so the whole taco is warm.

It helps if you speak Spanish!
