Afghan Village Restaurant

The Afghan restaurant provided a delightful culinary experience, with flavors that transported me to a different world. The aromatic spices infused in each dish showcased the rich heritage of Afghan cuisine. The attentive service and cozy ambiance further enhanced the overall dining pleasure. I highly recommend trying their kebabs and traditional Afghan bread for a truly authentic taste.

This is a true 5/5 for me. Automatically shot up to one of the best food experiences I've had in Austin this year. The food was delicious, and reasonably priced.

We had the Chapli Kebab and Chicken Karahi, and both were excellent. Full of flavor and fresh. The bread was freshly made as well.

The ambiance is quite modest, but I like it that way. The food is what really stands out!

What a find, right here in Austin. We wanted to eat something different and we saw this restaurant and decided to try it out and it was the best decision ever.

I actually forgot to take photos after the food came and started eating (hence the half eaten dishes ;)). But the goat karahi was super delicious, and the kabuli palau is so good.

You got to try the tea as it was the best tea ever, especially with the brown sugar and almonds.

This place is halal. You won't regret trying this place out.

Very Authentic Afghani restaurant in Austin. Must try this new gem. We tried their Mutton karahi, Kabuli pulaw, shami kabab, Tikka boti all food was super good. Kabuli pulaw lamb is very tender and flavourful, We loved their food. The quantity of the food is also very decent. They just need to improve on service.

So glad we came here. This is authentic Afghani Food and taste is 10/10. We ordered the Kabuli Pulao, Goat Karahi and Tikka Kabab. Kabuli Pulao was one of the best I have had in Texas. Goat Karahi was amazing, delicious. Kababs reminded me of the authentic street food stalls we used to have in North West Pakistan. So glad we have an authentic afghan food option in Austin. They serve complimentary Afghani Kehwa at the end. Perfect end to a delicious meal.
