My wife and I stumbled upon this little place while looking for a brunch spot on our anniversary. The menu is extensive and our server Olivia was phenomenal. Lots of great coffee options, which is always a plus. While I enjoyed there suggested drink pairing, it was just a little to early to indulge. We ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and the pancake flight.
Both were lick the plate clean delicious!!!
We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Nate and Leanne, who also happen to celebrate their wedding anniversary close to ours. Welcome to Austin and happy anniversary!!
Needless to say this might just be our new sneak away date place!!
Oh and you HAVE to try the biscuit beignets!!!
Delicious new brunch spot! Fun vibe and friendly and attentive staff! Co-owners made us feel so welcome! I LOVED the salmon avocado toast and their coffee selection. We sat outside and felt very safe as the tables were spread out and the servers were diligently wearing masks.
The service and food were great! We sat outside and the music they played set some good vibes for our Friday morning. Everything on the menu looked so good, so we are definitely coming back for more! Great drink menu as well.
Basically good. Some first day jitters for sure, but by in large good.
Booth seating is hard on the back, no incline. Decor very nice but a little mixed. The ceiling is contemporary of an industrial nature but the seating area is a little more country. Not sure of the clientele they are going after. Music from 60's and 70's soft rock.
Would I come back? Absolutely! I'll just demand a chair for sitting.
So happy to have Another Broken Egg in my neighborhood! The brunch is, without a doubt, the place to be on the weekends. The city grits? 10/10. The crab cakes with fried green tomatoes? 10/10. Cinnamon roll French toast? 15/10.
The restaurant was spotless and clean; the staff warm and welcoming. This is how every restaurant should be!l managed!
Do yourself a favor and try it out if you haven’t already!
