Baton Creole makes the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Made from thighs because they understand this is the superior tasting piece of fried chicken. The breading is thick and crunchy but somehow light. Pimento spread so thick that it sticks around. Greens to to balance out the decadence. All piled high on a brioche bun. Holy smokes.
The BEST chicken sandwich I have ever had. Ingredients are fresh and food is made when ordered. The jambalaya on a stick is unique and full of flavor. Sausage is really good and the breading was crisp and prepared well. Every now and then we contemplate driving over an hour just for the food here because it is just that good. The two men working the inside were fun and friendly.
Incredibly delicious creole food! We got the jambalaya and gumbo and both were so flavorful! The food truck was located next to a country themed bar where people were dressed in cowboy attire and danced very beautifully in the middle dance floor - their dancing was so mesmerizing, it all felt choreographed but was not. My husband and I are obviously tourists so I apologize for my crude description of the bar LOL but yeah we ate our scrumptious food inside the bar and it was such a wonderful and cultural experience for us :D
