BIG MEX BBQ

Man oh man, I love this place. Just discovered this place a few days ago. Day one we tried the chopped beef and it was outstanding. Perfectly smoked!! Super flavor. Day two on our way back through we had to get more to take home. This time we grabbed some chopped beef, pulled pork and pork sausage.....dang good bbq all the way around. Hate that it’s 45 minutes away, but we will definitely make the trip many more times!!

Without question the best barbecue ribs I've ever had. Fast and friendly service. Very good sized portions. If we are ever lucky enough for them to open a restaurant I'd like to be the first customer.

Picked up a sliced brisket sandwich and potato salad for lunch yesterday. It was outstanding! Generous serving of properly smoked and cooked brisket . I certainly hope the HPR area residents support this place because it is excellent. Headed back soon...

My wife and I were totally BLOWN away by how good BIG MEX BBQ was! We ordered the smoked Turkey, brisket and the jalapeno and cheddar hot link and they were all awesome! The baked beans were also very delicious!

I have always been a big fan of Rudy's and Salt Lick but I am now thinking that this is my new favorite BBQ place. The brisket was so lean and perfectly smoked that I could have probably eaten a pound of it! My wife really enjoyed the smoked turkey and it wasn't too salty which is a common issue with smoked BBQ turkey at most of the local BBQ places. They also offer some great gluten free options which is great because my wife has a gluten allergy.

The service was also fantastic and we are so happy to have BIG MEX BBQ right across the street from where we live! I will probably gain 10 pounds thanks to them! Ha!

Saw the positive reviews and wanted to check this place out. All the food was excellent. The brisket and ribs were perfectly seasoned and moist. They have a unique sauce as well, that is delicious, although not needed because the meat is so moist. I highly recommend this bbq place over most places in town.
