Bun Belly

Went there on new years eve and its just a mom dad and kid managing 2 stores. They were obviously overwhelmed and really need to hire more people. Nobody to answer the phones nobody to really take orders you just stand there for 20 minutes hoping to talk to someone. Food is pretty solid though. You're better off getting the bento boxes from Heo.

Their buns are sooo good! I had the eggplant and the beef buns and they were amazing, the best I’ve ever had. I also had their veggie spring roll and my friend had their chicken soup and Thai iced coffee. The staff were all very nice and fast too.

Such a wonderful little restaurant! The staff was so kind and got our to-go order ready quickly. The pho and vermicelli bowls were DELICIOUS! Highly recommend!

So delicious??! The only other time I've had a bao bun, was at a dim sum place in San Francisco. This place does them right! Had a pork belly, beef belly, and the shrimp bao, and let me tell you these are the best little sandwiches I've ever had! The sauces for each of them were different and perfect with the paired proteins and the cilantro?ties it all together! I was too hungry to snag a poc of all of them, but if this doesn't show how good these guys are, I dont know what will!

The food is always fresh, tasty, and much higher quality than the menu price suggests.

The wait staff is attentive and patient. The kitchen staff puts out fresh food at blazing fast speed. The environment is sleek while remaining comfortable and non-pretentious.

This is the best part of Hyde-Park, at least when it comes to high quality Asian food.
