Made fresh, delicious, shrimp po boy is huge and tasty. Carrot cake is really fresh and big enough to share. Will bring friends and try the fried chicken.
This is a wonderful hidden gem tucked away in
a food truck villa on Burnet Rd. Jay is absolutely a wonderful face of the the truck and the menu is so comforting with an exotic modernized twist.
Definitely check out this hidden gem. The carrot cake is like no other you can even imagine!
I tried Cornelia's Eats for the first time today and it was delicious. I had the sautéed shrimp with toasted baguette. The shrimp was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The baguette slices were crisp and buttery. I also ordered the homemade peach cobbler and it did not disappoint!! Don't hesitate to give this place a try. The owners are very sweet and the food is clearly made with love.
We've been going to the Burnet Food Trailers once or twice a week for well over a year. We are delighted by the latest addition, Cornelia's. Their food has all the richness of classic Louisiana cooking. The fried chicken on a delectable brioche, the pork sliders, the potato salad and the cobbler are all wonderful. Not only that, they are most reasonably priced. Very strongly recommended!!!
Delicious food, sweet people. A small menu means each dish is a Platonic Ideal of itself. Shrimp and grits are a savory, creamy heaven. Fried chicken is fresh, juicy and crispy with a scent that takes you to the heart of New Orleans. The sliders are perfect little bites with a delicious spicy pickled veggie crunch. The sides are generous and spot on. Nothing on the menu is low calorie, low fat, or vegetarian, but if you have ( or had) a Southern mama, grandma, or auntie, this food will be good for your heart as it takes you right back to the best meals of your childhood at her kitchen table. Try the carrot cake--its made with bacon! Trust me!
