El Tacorrido

True Tacorrido pozole story. I bought myself one order of pozole ($8.50) and took it to the bar I work at. Four of my hungry co workers caught the auroma and all gave me the hungry puppy dog look,,,so I decided to share and leave it out for them. I hadnt eaten all day and all that was left for me was a bay leaf, a bone and some fragmented hominy. Then they had the nerve to ask me the location, hours and when the manager Jovan was working because he makes awesome frozen margs. Seriously, aside from pozole, these guys put allot of effort in their tacos, deserts and over prep and clearly the portions were on point as I was able to feed 4 people with my one order. Learn from my mistake and dont share this hidden gem of mexican fast cuisine.

THE BEST MENUDO I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. IT IS LIQUID GOLD AND I LITERALLY WORSHIP IT.

I just want to preface this by saying I love the food here and I would never want to hurt this business or discourage people from eating here. I eat here at least once a week. The corn tortillas and chips are so delicious, I love the salsa, the price is right, and this location is new so there's lots of room for improvement. It's a great taco fix, and if you have no food restrictions or allergies you should give them a try.

That being said I think this place has a slight issue with cross contamination. My vegetarian/vegan roommate actually ate beef on accident, for the first time in over a decade, because it was tossed in there with the beans. It wasn't a lot of beef but any was too much. I'm guessing they are using the same scoops from ingredient to ingredient and things get mixed up, which is fine if you have no restrictions, but almost everytime I order here end up pulling small remnants of things out of my taco that I didn't order. I guess all I'm really saying is please change the scoops or use different ones for different ingredients! For some, eating the wrong food can be a serious health risk and for others it can just be a bummer.

Best / Authentic / Cost-Effective Tacos around. Their Carnitas Tacos are straight fire ?? and their frozen margs are delishhh / scratch made. And there’s a drive through for efficiency (or your introverted peeps). Idk what more you need but it’s there lol. (Been going to other El Tacorrido locations for years and now this one, they never disappoint, show them some love and they will create all the heavenly taco goodness you can handle).

Awesome new spot. Never been to the other locations but I’ve been back here twice in 3 days... best chilaquiles in town. I’m expecting to upgrade to 5 stars once I try a few more items on the menu. Al pastor was very sweet.
