So glad y’all opened back up! I went in today finally. I ordered at the restaurant and was waiting for my food. I was nervous about going out to eat but I was missing your tenders and Mac n cheese. A guy arrived without a mask and I overhead the employee ask if he had one (no). He then politely asked to take his order outside with a tablet and bring his food out when ready. I’m so glad this was handled respectfully and no viral Costco-like fiasco happened. This, along with all staff wearing masks and hand sanitizing, made me feel safe. The food, of course, was awesome.
Ate outside, lots of seating, no crowd. Had one of the typical platters of chicken tenders (spicy, reg, grilled, vegan options - I had fried spicy), crispy seasoned fries, creamed corn, bacon mac n cheese and dipping sauces (they range from $10-13). All really great and cooked fresh, even had some leftovers.
The fries are A+ ????
The chicken is delicious. The ranch based dipping sauces are tasty as well as the bacon mac and cheese. Really nothing to complain about here. Skip the line at Tumble 22 and get yourself some mighty fine fried chicken.
WOW
our first trip to Happy Chicks!!
Incredible customer service, to start with.
Chicken was fresh, juicy and hot. Nice crust. The portions were perfect for what we ordered. I got the spicy tenders, however I couldn't taste any spice/heat. They were still good though.
The fries were fresh, hot & crispy!! Great side w/ the chicken. Some had a bit to much seasoning but we were able to scrape it off.
The corn and mac & cheese were very tasty. I liked the addition of green onion on the mac & cheese.
We got 4 sauces smoked bacon, chipolte ranch, garlic ranch & gravy. All were fantastic with the chicken and fries.
There was a minor issue with the soda machine but there was plenty of tasty lemonade and tea to be had.
We will be back but will probably split a meal as it was a little pricey for 3 people, IMO. FYI, a Jumbo Chick w/ extra fries could totally be shared and everyone have plenty.
