Kura Revolving Sushi Bar - Now Open for Dine-In and Delivery Ser

I have been to Austin three times in the past year, and without fail, I have always been dragged to Kura by other groups. It's a fantastic sushi place, and it's worth the money. Clean, friendly staff, good reservation system, and nice to be at. If your hungry and want sushi in Austin, this is the place to go.

For it being my first time here, I was truly impressed! I had the beef ojyu as well as watermelon and it tasted great. The social distancing was also great. The fact that the manager came out to talk to us to make sure our needs were being met made that experience even better. Only default, not much food on belts so we would have to wait to pull anything off it. Overall, experience was a great one!

Very okay food. You get what you pay for. Despite what their website and Google say, they do not do takeout.

Sub par sushi but great price and fast service

This place is cheap but their sushi is great and their service is wonderful. Currently the 'revolving' part of the sushi bar is not active due to Covid concerns, but the express conveyor belt is fun to watch and they prep their sushi quickly. You don't order just once and get it in pieces, you use the little computers at your table or bar seat and choose what you want as you decide you want it. Decide you want more of their amazing eel hand roll? Order another! Their social distancing efforts are highly appreciated but gosh darn does it make the wait long. This is definitely my sushi place of choice.
