    I was there for the Chinese New Year party. Overall it was fun but they didn’t think some things through. Everyone was able to get into the VIP area. If not for that the food choices would have been horrible. They were initially serving the drinks in paper cups that looked like Chinese takeout, they leaked. The place itself has a huge patio and the upstairs was nice.

    I love the staff here! They are friendly and accommodating (though don't expect anyone to kiss your rear end).

    If your a LA native don't expect the seasoning level to be the same in the food here as in traditionally made Lousiana recipes. This is definitely an Austin Spice/seasoning level as far as the creole/Cajun inspired foods. The drinks are always tasty and the happy hour is well worth a short trek off of the typical sticky, stinky 6th street fare.

    Great Boudin Balls. Crawfish Tail spring rolls had real crawfish flavor. Good cocktail was boozy with fruit backbone - true N.O. character.
