Megenagna Mart and Cafe

I had an incredible dining experience at Megenagna Mart and Cafe. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was both friendly and attentive. The restaurant beautifully captures the richness of Ethiopian cuisine, coupled with the warmth of a traditional coffee ceremony. The relaxed atmosphere added to the inviting charm of the place.

I ordered a meal to-go. While everything was delicious, the Keysir (beetroot) was phenomenal and I would recommend that to anyone.

The mart has a number of unique Ethiopian foods for sale; I wish those had been listed online as I would have added a couple of things to my order.

The one thing I would caution you about is that they've got a TV set to full volume in the dining room and acoustics were terrible. I can't imagine trying to enjoy a conversation with someone over dinner. Plan on either getting your food to go, or asking the staff to turn the TV off.

Had lunch there yesterday, ordered the Vegan combination plate, and Awaze tibs...food was amazing, great service and the beer was ice cold. Really enjoyed our Sunday meal, also picked up a few items in the store. Very well stocked and full...

Ordered online for a to go order. The owner was really nice and even offered me espresso for while I waited. Everything I tried was really good! The market they have inside is full of spices and other things as well.

Fantastic coffee! I've tried coffee in places known for their coffee, and this rates with the best.

The food is flavorful and abundant, too. Caution: they only have beef, vegetarian, and vegan options on the menu, no chicken.
