This place is delicious! I've tried a variety of plates here and in my opinion the brisket fries/nachos is a must have!! They have outdoor action on the patio if you want fresh air. Very friendly staff members and the restrooms are clean.

The food and service was great. We had a large group of 25+. The server were polite and the food hot. The Reuben sandwich was the best I've had.

Good was kind of ok. My schnitzel was kind of dry and could have used a sauce or gravy.
It was their first day of summer party and went outside to hear the first band and have a couple of drinks. They were pretty good and the atmosphere was good as well. The misters and fans were going so the evaporative cooling was a big help

Outstanding service and wait staff for our large party. The pretzel appetizer was unbelievably tasty. Chicken and fries were very good and others noted the schnitzel was worth ordering. Selection of beers was extensive and interesting. This is a historic Austin landmark and definitely worth trying.

Had lunch here. Popular place, it was pretty busy but we were seated right away. Lots of menu items to choose from. They even have a vegan option (burger or garden salad). But of course most items are German-type foods. Everything looked good, and smelled even better. Had the fried chicken tenders (the bacon gravy sold me on this and it did not disappoint!). The food was good, the service was good. No complaints at all. It was my first time here - will definitely go back to try some of the other menu items.
