Excellent presentation and staff, their service is amazing ! Juan paid attention to us and was a very professional server, the whole staff really was. They’re serving fresh food, and got live music on Wednesdays and Friday’s! Totally recommended.

Going to be one of the hidden gems of Austin. South of the border upscale seafood, pork, steaks, and veggies is how I'd best describe Simar. The service is excellent! Very nice and attentive. Food quality is super fresh which will set it apart from others.

My negative is the fried coconut shrimp. I'm a fan of seafood freshness which they have indeed spent money on bringing in fresh shrimp. Unfortunately, the coconut makes the shrimp sweat tasting and looses the seafood freshness taste.

First time visiting this restaurant and let me tell you. The food was absolutely delicious, presentation was gorgeous and the environment was fun! They had a live band playing and it made the entire experience marvelous.

I’m not a huge seafood fan but this place absolutely changed my mind. Will be making this place a new spot for family when they visit town. Thank you so much to the staff and cooks!
