SusieCakes - Austin West Wood

I screamed and jumped up and down with delight when I learned that SusieCakes was coming to Austin AND to my area of town!! Our family comes up with reasons to celebrate to go pick up sweets at SusieCakes....we just can't get enough of their delicious treats! But, this is only the icing the cake! I could go on and on about the friendliness of the staff, their thoughtful gestures and the happy energy in the air when you walk into this location. It makes the experience even sweeter! WE LOVE YOU SUSIECAKES!!!

Our first SusieCakes experience was so positive, I can not recommend them enough. I ordered a 1/2 birthday cake for our baby, and loved it. We got the small size but was able to feed 14 people. Everyone said the cake was absolutely delicious. Even when I picked up the cake, the staff were friendly and seemed genuinely happy. Their location is bright and charming. I am so excited to have come across them and can’t wait to get their cakes for all other occasions!

Chocolate was similar to a store bought cake but more moist. It wasn’t as wow as I had hoped, but maybe my expectations are set too high. The lemon slice was much more well received, except that I didn’t like the crunchiness from the sugar crystals. The lemon slice was also much smaller but the same cost.

My new favorite bakery in town, and DEFINITELY for any of my upcoming parties or events!

I called SusieCakes to see if they could create some custom buttercream cupcakes for me, and Lexie was soooo sweet in helping me get exactly what I needed to make my celebration perfect, and when I needed it ready too!

When I arrived, she and another gal were so excited to help me get my cupcakes packaged for my event and made sure they stayed fresh and delicious for my guests. The customer service is just so amazing I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for my baked goods.

My guests raved about how incredible the cupcakes were (all asking where I got them), and I gladly shared my new find. I plan to come back for the delicious looking cakes, too!
