Second time I've been here and was not as good as the first.
Here's the good. Really good flour tortillas, which is the key for me. It's harder getting that right than the insides.
That said the filings today were bad. I'm doing 4 stars based on the last time. Today I had bistec and also a chicken taco. Bistec was fine. It's never great anywhere, but is fine.
The chicken was oddly quite bad. Crunchy. Overcooked. Like the pieces were too small and cooked too long.
Fantastic breakfast tacos, tasty and affordable. We were dismayed that Thoms stopped carrying Tacodeli tacos so we were looking for a new taco joint. These are even better.
These tacos were pretty good! But not excellent... I got the chicken tacos that come 4 on a plate. For $15 it wasn't a lot of food and not $15 of quality either. I was the only one there at 2:15pm on a Saturday and it is kinda weird to sit outside and just watch the traffic go by. Service was fast since I was the only one there. Again, not bad, but not sure I'd recommend it to anyone.
One of the best cheap tacos in town. Authentic Mexican, friendly service in the shade. The cucumber slices were a refreshing touch. Will be back!
Solid taco truck, tortillas, meat, and salsa were all delicious. Good prices, paid $12 for four large tacos. Will be back to try the Campenchano soon!
