Everything this place serves is gangster right down to the homemade tortillas and chili salsa. Generous parking (for a food truck) and a nicely covered al fresco dining area with four standard picnic tables and a huge fan. $12.50 for 3 fat barbacoa tacos with a side salad and a 20-oz drink. Definitely check them out.
There are a lot of Mexican food trucks around, both this one is distinguished! Food consistently delicious, fresh, flavorful, and appealing to the eye. The servers are kind and humble, and they have a well designed eating area. We come over and over. I eat here weekly. You can see by the diverse customer base just how damn good it is.
This is the only place in Austin where the Tacos Al Pastor are AUTHENTIC and DELICIOUS!!!! ❤️ i love their green sauce!!! Seriously worth having. I’m addicted to this food truck lol my fiancé always gets their birria tacos and he too loves them. There’s no other place in Austin that makes them like they do.
Been here a few times and it’s one of my favorite food trucks! The Al Pastor and Carnitas are always AMAZING! 🔥 always super quick service (waited maybe max 5 mins this time). Fresh and best corn tortillas! Their salsas are HOT! Which is my favorite since I hate mild salsa. Al Pastor had an amazing char. Really great sized tacos and love the radish and cucumber on the side. Never greasy or soggy. Outdoor seating is covered and spacious. Parking is never a problem.
Overall 10/10. Will be coming again!
So my mom and I were trying to decide on what to have for dinner tonight. We came across this trailer that was about 5 minutes from us and WOW. This place had some amazing food!
The Quesabirra tacos were flavorful and came with cucumbers, radishes and lime. The consume was also really good!
The flautas were made on the grill and they have a slight crisp on the outer part. The shredded chicken on the inside was also very flavorful, cooked in a chile sauce. They are topped with lettuce, tomatoes, Queso fresco, avocado slices and Crema!
The beef fajita taco was also really good (didn't get a photo of that one since we split it in half..ha!) Highly recommend it with a squeeze of lime and with the Orange/green salsa. Going back to the Orange chile de arbol salsa...SO GOOD and the Green one...AMAZING.
Prices are reasonable and the wait time wasn't long--Packaging was also nicely done. The staff was also super friendly! Its worth giving it a try :)
**EDIT** SUNDAY February 26th**
Alright ya'll so we decided to come back here for dinner tonight and its still a 10/10 !!
The Fajita Torta was filled with beans, lettuce, tomato, cheese and crema. The bread was toasted perfectly! And of course once you add that salsa (orange/green) its BOMB.
The Fajita tacos were delicious! The corn tortillas are homemade, the meat is NOT fatty, and they definitely are not skimpy on the meat. The side of cucumbers was also very fresh!
Seriously ya'll make sure to ask for the orange and green salsa!! This is some of the best that we've have had in a long time. I used all four cups of mine but I am someone who loves spice LOL
Again service was super friendly, the trailer is clean and we will be back!
