Taqueria Monarca 2

Great spot! We had the tortas and egg and bean tacos. Tasted fresh, not too heavy. Salsas were flavorful. The service was so friendly 🙂 It's right next to Cenizo 👌

I think the truck is in someone's front yard. There are four trucks here and they all look good. I want to try all of them.

Got my Sunday morning regular. Chorizo and egg on flour and bacon and egg on flour. Both were very big. About $3.50 each. Two is enough.

As usual, chorizo is better than bacon, but both were good. Flour tortillas were fluffy. Could have been fried up a slight bit more before serving.

Four and half stars. Upgraded to five because this whole little area is lovely.

I lived in Austin for almost 10 years and have tired pretty much every taco in town. I can honestly say these are the best breakfast tacos in Austin. Amazing every time with very good salsas. The younger gentleman that works there is super nice and always remembers my name. I love this place!

We stopped in for some yummy treats at Nene’s and decided to grab a chicken quesadilla from Taqueria Monarca. It was delicious! We will be back!

Located in a small neighborhood food truck park, the atmosphere was fun. The food was really good here, we got breakfast tacos that all came out delicious. Great for bringing dogs and kids, with lots of variety in seating, and activities like trampolines, corn hole, etc. Would go back!
