I drove here from Kyle for the Happy Hour. I stayed about an hour. For that hour, I didn't want to be anywhere else. The food was delicious. I took advantage of the 3pm to 6pm Happy Hour special and got and amazing burger for 10 bucks. Two patties on a golden toasted bun, fresh mayo and ketchup, nice crisp lettuce. The burger was cooked perfectly, with a little bit of pink still left. I enjoy it like this. Gives it a real gourmet flavor and feel when it's not overcooked. The cheese was delicious too. The burger was very juicy and left me wanting more. I ordered another. It was just as good as the first. I'll be back again to try the $10 happy hour pizzas they serve. A friend of mine suggested I try a drink next time I'm there. He claims they are fantastic, so I'm looking forward to a future visit. Last but not least, the environment. I chose to dine outside and I was rewarded nicely. This place has a really pleasant atmosphere, a nice seating arrangemment, and a beautiful oak tree is the centerpiece of this dining experience. If you don't mind a little summer breeze and small bits of pollen in the air, this is for you. I loved it. Cars driving by, people walking their dogs on the sidewalk next to you. A true escape in the hustle and bustle of lively South Austin. If you're in need of a hug, ask for Tim. He's the GM and he really enjoys giving hugs to random people. Don't be shy, ask Tim for a hug.

My daughter and I visited this restaurant, we were completely impressed, but I don’t do reviews, I let it go. I went back with 3 of my friends. They were all impressed. The Garden at 704. Wow. The food so delish, the pizza was the best I have ever had (and I lived in NYC for 12 years)! The brussel sprouts, to die for. As if the food was not impressive enough, their prices were really reasonable. And if that is not enough, the service and the ambiance, incredible. This is now our go to restaurant. Thank you so much.

Great people wish them luck. I went to the Grand opening. Music , free green beer. Kinda expensive. Nothing under 18( I had an appetizer, the crab cakes) unless it's a salad. Most meals 28 dollars and up unless its pizza. I can't eat pizza , pasta or most of the menu since I am diabetic.

Amazing, AMAZING food and stellar service. As a person who rarely leaves reviews, let me tell you: this place is incredible! Delicious Roman-style fare and exquisite drinks. Cocktails pictured below are the Proper Man and The Garden; both are out-of-this-world good. Happy hour menu and prices are excellent. Thank you to the staff there for the incredible experience!
