Uncle Nicky's Italian Specialties

Had dinner last night. Thought it was closed cause no one in sight at 7:45pm. Only one hot sandwich on menu. Had that and pasta with Alfredo (flavorless) and another pasta with tomato sauce which had weird texture and just ok. Also had "eat your greens" salad which turned out to be a small portion of mostly iceberg with a few cherry tomatoes. Overall we were all disappointed. Also pricey for what you get.

Went in for dinner on a Monday night, it was kinda slow but hostess was friendly & were able to get a seat outside on the patio. To start we had the side of Focaccia and Smoked Salmon Crudo, which was tasty and a very generous portion. Paired together, they were delicious!
For the entrees, we decided to share a couple of pastas - we got the Spaghetti with red sauce and topped with Uncle Nicky’s Meatballs which was good. We also had the Pork Bolognese with rigatoni, which the sauce was unfortunately lacking salt and watery, and the rigatoni itself was completely overcooked, just all mush. Cocktails and wine were good though.

Great service, as well as food! Our server was very congenial and knowledgeable about the menu items (which were unfamiliar to me!) and showed great patience in answering all my questions! She even introduced me to a new type of espresso drink which had since become my favorite!

Loved the front and back patios! I would like the prices to be just a bit lower for the food they offer. I still highly recommend. Fantastic location!
