The Growler Bar

The growler bar is the best beer related establishment in Pflugerville. They do a great job in trying to find beers that engage the brewing enthusiast community while also providing drinks for those that want something more mainstream. They support local breweries from the city and state. Great staff, great beers, good stuff.

If you love beer and do not hit this place then I may have to question if you really do love beer. The selection here is massive. The also have wine. They have free old school classic video games. Indoor and out door seating although most is indoor. The food is limited to non existent due to the food truck in the parking lot. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and prices are pretty good as well

As someone who used to frequent the Flying Saucer, it's nice that Pflugerville has the Growler Bar to offer such a wide assortment of craft beers. My wife isn't a beer drinker, but even she found a few that she liked. The prices are good, the variety is fantastic. Service was timely even if not super friendly across the board. The pricing is smart as far as flights, full pints, and different growler volumes.
The decor is quietly stated yet industrial artistic. They do offer a few food options, but you definitely go here for the drinks. The place was packed when we went, so hopefully that is a good sign that the Growler Bar will stay around for a long, long time.

Love this place. Extremely family friendly. Very knowledgeable staff. Great crowd of regulars. HUGE selection of beers.

Lots of great local and national microbreweries represented here. Awesome, knowledgeable staff. And now, PIZZA! Just a fun place to hang out. Added bonuses: kid friendly with free arcade games, and trivia weekly.
