I had been hoping for a place like this to pop up. Great food, great people, and a great location. If you want pickup, I strongly suggest ordering ahead online. My food was ready as promised so I was able to get in and out in no time.

The turkey legs are juicy and have tons of flavor. The jerk turkey leg with the smoked cabbage is my absolute favorite. I only take issue with the "fried" turkey leg. Although it looked fried, the skin was nowhere near crispy and fell off in chunks with a doughy, rubbery texture. The smoked meat underneath was great though.

We went on a Saturday night for dinner. DJ was great and atmosphere was lively. Our first time so the family got a variety. Family of 4 without drinks was $81. 4 legs, 2 Mac and cheese, one order of fried cabbage.
Service was fast and friendly.
Legs had great flavoring but meat away from the bone was dry. Fried cabbage is still very, very crunchy-not my preference. I wouldn’t recommend the mac and cheese, it’s flavorless.
I think they’re relatively new, I’ll def return while they perfect their craft.

Come hungry. Eat happy. Leave stuffed. Fall off the bone turkey legs. More side than you shake a stick at. Full of flavor. Smoked deliciously, and hearty. The price is on point considering the amount of food. Support black owned family business!

Food and service is exceptional! This restaurant is a must try, the turkey leg, baked potato and cabbage were delicious and the portions are generous. While waiting on our food, we talked to one of the owners. He was so down to earth, told us about how the restaurant came to be and his vision for the future. We asked about the frozen margarita and he immediately offered and gave us a sample. We didn't purchase one then because we're already drinking something else but are planning to return there today to have one. We're visiting for a short time from out of state and our daughter had three restaurants she wants us to try. That's the only reason we're not eating there again today.
