“The decor is so cute. They did such a great job with the little lights and super nice tables and barstools. My husband and I where so impressed with the place. Pizza was on point, wings where bomb. Only thing that struck me as different but not bad was that the sodas came in bottles. They do have a sign by the door that says 100% recycled but I would’ve hoped for fountain soda, since each bottle was $3.00. Still gave this place 5 stars, still will be back and will again pay for $3.00 soda because this place is worth it.”

“CM Smokehouse is actually a good truck located in Boldin Acres, and all the food comes from the smokehouse. We ordered a brisket quesadilla and a brisket burrito, they were both delicious just a little too salty for my taste. What brings this up to a 5 star place is the amazing environment! It's family friendly and we found lots of cute kids running around and it's pet friendly as well! This place is super chill and a great place for a Sunday lunch!”

“Mouth watering. Great staff. I tend to think some bbq joints around here are a bit overrated but this place is underrated if anything. Priced appropriately. And they seem to always have something new coming out which is awesome. Derek and Kyle were super friendly. I didnt get the other guys name but he was great too. I might have to unfollow them on social media cause the pictures are so mouthwatering i cant concentrate at work. Just kidding. I will continue to follow them.”

“I drove here from Kyle for the Happy Hour. I stayed about an hour. For that hour, I didn't want to be anywhere else. The food was delicious. I took advantage of the 3pm to 6pm Happy Hour special and got and amazing burger for 10 bucks. Two patties on a golden toasted bun, fresh mayo and ketchup, nice crisp lettuce. The burger was cooked perfectly, with a little bit of pink still left. I enjoy it like this. Gives it a real gourmet flavor and feel when it's not overcooked. The cheese was delicious too. The burger was very juicy and left me wanting more. I ordered another. It was just as good as the first. I'll be back again to try the $10 happy hour pizzas they serve. A friend of mine suggested I try a drink next time I'm there. He claims they are fantastic, so I'm looking forward to a future visit. Last but not least, the environment. I chose to dine outside and I was rewarded nicely. This place has a really pleasant atmosphere, a nice seating arrangemment, and a beautiful oak tree is the centerpiece of this dining experience. If you don't mind a little summer breeze and small bits of pollen in the air, this is for you. I loved it. Cars driving by, people walking their dogs on the sidewalk next to you. A true escape in the hustle and bustle of lively South Austin. If you're in need of a hug, ask for Tim. He's the GM and he really enjoys giving hugs to random people. “We went during their soft opening, before they fully opened. I have to say wow, was I impressed. The oysters were so fresh, but it wasn’t just that. Their horseradish and even the onions they put on it were out of this world, I’m a bit of an oyster enthusiast if I do say so myself and even I can say that combination of fresh toppings with those oysters might have been the best oyster experience I’ve ever had grace my taste buds. Whoever is in charge of ordering those oysters, definitely has my compliments. The shrimp cocktail was great too, flavor was great and very juicy. The ahi tuna with their bread was such a good combination. Service was amazing. Honestly I’d give them 6 or even 7 stars if I could. I could honestly say that I rarely visit the Austin area because to be honest most of Austin kind of creeps me out, but I think this restaurant definitely played a huge part in convincing me to go back and visit the area again in the future. Definitely planning on coming back the next time I’m in town to visit, I hope that they can maintain this quality even after their full opening. Will be updating this after trying it again after they fully open, but I have high hopes for this place. Highly recommend!”
