Dairy Palace Restaurant

The catfish and shrimp plate is excellent. You better be hungry though. Big fillets fried just right, without the catfish skin, because I'm picky about my catfish. Plus fried butterfly shrimp. It also comes with 2 sides of your choice and a piece of Texas toast. One of my sides was the salad. It was so fresh and topped off with their homemade ranch dressing. Just delicious. A pretty good value at $12.99 for more food than I could eat in one sitting. I would recommend you to try it if your in the mood for some good fish.

Oh my gracious! They have huge plates at very reasonable prices. I would say cheap but that word tends to make some people think the quality would be cheap as well. The food was fresh and perfectly done. Their biscuits alone would almost be worth a 3.5 hour drive! Try to save room for their fresh fried pies or buy a few to take with you!

Dairy Palace was a meeting spot for someone I was purchasing from. We decided to go in to use the restroom and have an ice cream. The restroom stalls were very small, hardly enough room for one person. The rest of the restaurant was really outdated but it adds to the small country town feel. They had lots of different icecream to choose from and a tempting looking food menu. We enjoyed our food at a booth and was on our way back to Dallas.

We happened to be in Canton, and this place was suggested. My first time here and I went for an exotic Bison burger! It was more lean than your typical hamburger, and tasted great. The atmosphere had a clear oldies theme, and the service was good. Would recommend to friends if you are in the area.

Man I love this place! Everything taste like its home made. The burgers are A-1 shakes are delicious. The have 32 flavors of Blue Bell ice cream need is say more. Customer service is great so If you're every in Canton, TX or near a Dairy Palace do yourself a favor stop in!
