    Basing my 5 stars on the food, staff and cleanliness. It is just a good old fashioned country cooking place with a large menu selection and fair prices.

    A diamond in the rough. Nothing fancy, you will not see garnish here, but the prices are good, the food seemed fresh, and the service was fine. I got a chicken fried steak half portion..It was rather large for a half. The sausage gravy was excellent. I had fried oysters, they were fresh and tasted great. Fried shrimp, excellent. Sirloin was done perfectly, not chewy, and nicely seasoned. If you're not from around here, check Google maps to leave the restaurant...trust me.

    Good, fresh food. The place is clean but humble, not fancy. And the food is always good whether I get a burger, gumbo, or seafood. Always good.
