Food was great but took a lo g tome to get my food. The whole place is run by high school kids that don't seem to know what their doing. The service was ok but getting the ticket took a long time spent an extra 20 mins waiting fir it once I asked for it. I ordered the burger substitute the fries for onion rings but still got charged for it. Highway robbery 27.00 for a burger and onion rings with a tea.
Service was great. Appetizers were good, the food was lackluster. The ribs tasted like they'd been boiled and the texture was rather slimy. The only flavor they had was from the glaze. Drinks were good though. To sum it up: good but not what you should expect at that price point.
Stopped here on my way back from buying a car in Fort Worth. A good friend recommended it-- because he grew up in Monohans, AND because there are very few Bennigans left in Texas. I ordered a Bennigans burger with Onion Rings. The burger was very good-- with a large 1/2 lb patty and the fixings. The Onion Rings were GIANT-- Never seen any like these before. The table service was pretty good too. This meal helped me get back on the road for thr remainder of my trip to El Paso. :-)
I went here several times with friends while I was working in Manahans. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Our food and drinks came out great and on time. All the food was cooked very well and tasted excellent.
