Pappy's BBQ

As someone who's family has owned a BBQ restaurant for many years I must stop in here everytime I'm within a hundred miles.
Love the food and service.
The employees are also very great at what they do.

I was leaving a gas plant in the middle nowhere heading to Kermit, which meant I was going to be driving through Monahans. With an empty belly and a powerful craving for BBQ, I knew where I was headed for lunch. I walked in, excited and starving, ordered the three meat plate. Lean brisket, pork rib, chicken breast, and sausage with some green beans. Their desserts and cornbread are amazing btw but I didn't get anything this time. The smoke rings in the meat were beautiful. Everything was delicious and tender. Great flavors, friendly service, clean dining area!!

It's been a while I've eaten here but, still good food. The only reason I didn't put 5 stars was because the brisket was a bit cold. Not a big deal. I always get the 4 meat plate as shown on the picture. It's a little over $20. Work is slow so, don't stop as much as I used too. You have to try it for yourself. Sure you'll like it too.

You know it's gonna be good when the parking lot is completely full.
I had the sausage and brisket, which was great. The brisket was super tender and not dry at all. The sausage had great flavor and spice. I definitely recommend Pappy's BBQ!
