“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant from Houston to Austin. I'm highly addicted to the hot sauce and Waka moly sauce served with chips. Hot sauce is very unusual, ( not tomato-based) and it makes my bald spot and upper lip sweat but it is highly addicting and I used it on the whole meal. Very wide variety a Mexican plates and probably the best fajitas I've encounter. Also serving steak and other items for people that are not in the mood for Mexican food. The waiters are on top of you for your needs and the food is reasonably priced. When I walk out of there I'm quite pleased with myself and full. Happy Cinco de Mayo.”

“The food was very good. Both the egg drop soup and the sweet and sour soup were amazing. If you are looking to eat at the buffet the time is from 11 to 2:30 otherwise the dinner service starts at 5 except on Friday which starts at 4. We asked for Hot Sake but they said they only served soda, tea, and water, it doesn't seem like they serve alcohol. Overall it was yummy.”

“Great place for lunch! Their lunch deals are always great and you get a lot a food for a reasonable deal. Dinner is always good, though that's when the larger crowd hits. The lunchtime crowd can range from non-existent to halfway full. The sushi served here is always great and fresh. You can watch them make it at the bar.”

“We went to eat lunch on a Sunday around 1pm and the place was pretty packed! We expected to be there awhile but we had an amazing waitress who did everything perfectly. We got our food quick and it was delicious! I wish I would have got the waitress’s name she was so great! The only problem was a little awkwardness with the hostess when we first got there but the rest of the experience made up for that!”

“They have a new buffet, the food and selection were very good. They have a salad bar well stocked with leaf lettuce, not iceberg lettuce, and plenty of choices for salad toppings. Then the hot buffet has several choices of different enchiladas, fajitas, fried chicken, chicken and chicken fried steak strips. Very good and dessert is included for $10.95.”

“Good parking. Cozy. Lovely decor w/historical photos of Washington County gracing the walls. Front area has cozy semi-circle chairs at round tables. Back area is for larger parties (regular chairs). Full bar. All-You-Can-Eat Buffet includes salad bar (including fruit like berries, pineapples, grapes); at least 2 different types of meat (steak; spinach chicken) + shrimp & dipping sauces, veggies & dessert all for under $15. (I am not sure if the buffet menu changes or not). Lovely, hefty silverware/steak knife. Flat screen TVs. Friendly and attentive wait staff. I had the pleasure of meeting the friendly owner. I like that I was told that if I ordered steak "well done" that I would get it well done and not get any odd/frosty glares/stares.???? I look forward to my next visit.”

“Clean restaurant that obviously used to be a Mexican food place. We ordered off the lunch menu and got the hamburger, a grilled chicken salad and the popcorn shrimp basket and it was all good. Only complaint was that we ordered our food at 12:33 and didn’t receive it until 1:20. Not sure why it took more than 45 minutes to get our order since they weren’t very crowded. Would probably go back with fingers crossed that the service would be faster. Overall friendly staff and good food, just incredibly slow service for lunch. Update: ok, we’ve been back several more times (for dinner) and we love it. Food is delicious and consistently good. Staff has still forgotten our appetizers a few times but the food makes up for it. Highly recommend.”

“Me and my husband stopped by due to the great reviews we saw for this place and were glad we did the Aztec coffee was so good the biscuits and gravy were amazing the bread was perfectly toasted, but still soft and fluffy in the middle and the gravy was so good with it. Also we ordered the avacado toast with some toppings and really enjoyed it .The owner was so welcoming and personable we really enjoyed talking to her and hope one day to visit again. Thanks so much for your hospitality and those cinnamon buns you made were delicious :)”

“I waver on Chappell Hill being 3 or 4 stars. It's a great stopover point between Austin and Houston, and the food is good enough. But sometimes it takes forever to get your food and sometimes the food is just "meh". But the bakery and desserts are good every time, and I've never thought, "man, I really don't want to eat this."”
