“I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy on the side. If the chicken fried steak doesn't need gravy for flavor, why have it. Well it had gravy on it and I asked again to have the gravy removed. It did not take long (2-3 minutes) for my food to return to me. It was delicious! I was even able to give my gravy to my friend. The squash caserole was yummy, too. You should come here if you want good food.”

“Excellent BBQ and friendly service! Don't be fooled by the location...this place is legit. They even have a "viewing room" where you can see all the smokers in action! “One of our favorite places to eat. Nice atmosphere, and the pizza is great. Also like their sandwiches, wraps, and salads. It's not a beer joint, but you can get a beer if you like. Staff is always friendly. And there is a Blue Bell ice cream parlor on the other side, opposite the dining room! It's a fun place, on the south side of the courthouse square in Brenham.”

If it's a quiet day, there is a large parking lot across the street. They also have a great wine and beer selection and can accommodate large parties (we've eaten there several times and had our wedding rehearsal dinner there in 2015).”
