“One of the Best Mexican restaurant in Laredo & very affordable! Sure, it’s a small restaurant with limited space to dine in but the food & quality are always on point. Not to mention the huge portion of food you get. There are plenty popular choices for breakfast, lunch & dinner plates & they look just as good the pictures hanging throughout the store. “My girlfriend and I were just trying to find a quiet place to watch the game on Sunday and we stumbled into this Wonderful place! The beer was delicious, names are creative, the bartenders were such great and down to earth people, and while sitting there some of the owners came in and we had a great conversation! Food truck outside was absolutely amazing and the man tending to the truck was very nice and genuine! This place has become my favorite place in Laredo by far and the only downfall is that i live in san antonio! I cant wait to see how this place continues to grow! My mind automatically thinks of a nice brick oven pizza, sending a few co owners and a enthusiastic team member or two to get some training making some rustic and creative Neapolitan style pizza?! Like a Hot Honey Chicken brick oven Neapolitan style pizza?? Be the talk of the town! Just like the culture in Laredo, this place is not done growing and I cant wait to see what is to come. From making beer in a home kitchen to what i experienced this last weekend, keep the momentum going! “Before you order they bring out house made tortilla chips and salsas, green & quemada salsas are awesome. They also served a small bowl of fideo which was good and tasty.We ordered the 3 taco combo(2 crispy tripa & 1 fajita), a tostada siberia and a cheeseburger for my 7 year old. The tacos were good, tostada was excellent and my kid loved the burger and homemade fries. Service was excellent, server would come by regularly to offer drink refills and made sure we were well served.”

“My first impression was how clean this location is. The fresh paint job and shining surfaces were pristine looking. Our service was perfectly kind and well received, even offering us extra salsas for our meal at no cost. The food is to die for delicious, and we could not contain our delighted sighs of enjoyment while eating. I would say the guisados looked fresh and tantalizing and the drinks were refreshingly cold. I would always recommend getting a mixed topping quesadilla and trying out their many options. We got the huevos en salsa for the first time paired with champiñones. Delicious doesn't even do it justice.”

“We had the pancakes with fruit for my youngest daughter, Paulitas special that has the 3 eggs with salsa, barbacoa, bacon, potatoes and beans, my other daughter asked for the Omlet Light with weat toast, avocado slices, tomato slices and the onset is 4 egg whites with spinach mushroom mexican cheese. The hubby had taco de guisado and taco de barbacoa. The TACOS ARE VERY BIG TO FIT THE PLATE AND THE PLATES ARE WELL SERVED. WELL PRICED.”

“Light clean oil made for great fresh crispy chicken strips. The macaroni and cheese was delicious. Not a ball of pasted together overcooked noodles. The pop had little ice balls.....my favorite! I like to Crunch on the ice! The Hot Fries are amazing! The only thing that would make them better is if they were shoestring fries instead of the drier crinkle cut. The Buffalo sauce on the hot fries was good. It had heat, but not too pica.”

“Hands down, best brunch place in town. We're regular clients from the other Vica's location but decided to give this one a try, both locations are nice and comfy, although this one is a bit bigger. The quality of service and food goes always beyond expectations. The presentation of the dishes, the flavor and texture of each dish is simply perfect. This time we got the Poblano Crepé, which comes with ham, cheese, spinach and a delicious creamy green sauce on top, and as the other dishes it includes sauteed potatoes with parmesan as a side. Also we got the Salmon Rosemary Toast, which we tried before and never disappoints. To drink we got a regular coffee (includes refill), and a Rose Latte (if you don't like your coffee too sweet, make sure to ask just for one pump on the coffee). As a dessert (not included on the menu yet) we got the flamed banana french toast, and it was outstanding, we devoured it. They also have other items that are not included in the menu yet, such as the matcha waffles or the Vegan tacos (made out of mushrooms), just stayed tune on their social media since there is where they post the new dishes although one may ask the waiters as well, they're always happy to share recommendations. We've been to Vica's several times and we've tried different dishes and everything we've gotten is extremely good, specially their chilaquiles (best in town, no joke). Additionally, they have live shows on Saturdays around 11:00am, this weekend there was a Drag Show (due to pride month) which was very enjoyable, but usually they have live music.”

“In drive thru. Asked for extra pico de Gallo and confirmed several times. I was assured it was there. Left without checking and found I small cup for 4 tacos. WTH? How can you eat any tacos without salsa? The problem is they have you pull up to serve the people behind you. When they give you the food, they walk away fast and you can't check your order. You have no way to contact them. If I wait then it's not fair for the people behind me. If I have to go in, then it defeats the purpose of the drive thru. This has happened several times already, just didn't post it.”

“Enjoyable place to get good ramen. We went during the soft opening but luckily was not so crowded. As appetizer we got the gyozas, which were very good. On the other hand, we got the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, which was pretty good, a little spicy but very pleasant and the portion was very decent, the broth flavor was good although not as strong as others I've tried but still very tasty. Moreover we got the Short Rib Ramen which was my favorite, the broth flavor was good, and it included a big rib with tender meat that you can easily remove from the bone, this ramen was not spicy but we ordered Chili Oil on the side which added a very nice twist to the broth, so I highly recommend to do so if you like spicy food. Prices are accessible and the people attending are very nice and welcoming. Since we went during the soft opening, not all of the items were available yet but we were told that they'd add a Curry Ramen and desserts among other items.”

“Good taco place with accessible prices and great service. We decided to try out the menudo, even though we asked for the small one it was pretty well served, the flavor was good, nothing outstanding but acceptable, also it's good that you can order it at any time of the day (usually other places only serve it during breakfast). We also got the Guacataco Texano Combo, which is basically a big tortilla flour with guacamole and the meat of your choice, the combo includes a small cup of charro beans and a beverage. Also, we ordered a taco combo with corn tortilla, it included 5 tacos which can be mixed, so we decided to try different meats and some were a bit better than others, our favorite was Molleja which was a little bit crispy and had a good flavor, and the other one we liked was the Chicharrón with red salsa, it had an amazing flavor. I definitely recommend the Guacataco combo if you're hungry, since the Corn tortilla tacos are very small.”
