“They have quite a few breakfast option. You can get better breakfast tacos and 'kolaches' other places in Wharton but this place ties it together. Nice seating, bakery, tacos, and good coffee. Glad to see its back open. If you're going to tip make sure you do it with cash. I'd like to see more hot lunch items and more veggies for the sandwiches. It had potential, I'm looking forward to it!”

“Milam Street Coffee Shop, long a favorite crash pad for Wharton, has added sandwiches, and in a big way. I had the chicken salad wrap. It was great. I would put it against anywhere. The fruit salad that comes with it was fresh and tasty. I saw they also have all kinds of waffles. Gotta try that too. The place is also looking sharp, cozy and inviting. I am proud of them being here and being Wharton Chamber members!”

“Food was just fine - beware of highly salted green beans though! Service was sub par ! I had seen reviews that the coconut meringue pie was good but they did not have any single slices. So I asked if they would cut another pie (there were two whole pies for sale ). They said the pie cutter had gone home early. And so no one else could cut pie ? Yep, no one else. Who knew cutting pie was such a highly skilled talent ? An hour before closing and those pies were better to sit there overnight than be cut into. Won’t be coming back”

“Same menu everywhere. But each place's upkeep is different. Some places are nicely kept, many other places are run down in need of remodeling or at least a cleaning. And how did the spicy chicken sandwich become so hard to order? It comes standard WITHOUT cheese, but many places they are determined to force cheese on my sandwich despite me saying literally 3 times, "No cheese." That is very annoying!”
