“Best burger I’ve had in years. The hand cut fries were very tasty and was a very generous portion size. Wife had the patty melt and onion rings. EVERYTHING was awesome. I’ve got a new place to eat when I travel up highway 287 now! Can’t wait to try the grilled chicken and the catfish. Looking at the other reviews, everyone agrees, except the guy complaining about the price and the “gratuity”. Ironic how he paints only a half picture of his receipt rather than telling the full story about the “3.75% gratuity”. Here’s the bottom of my receipt. No different than getting fuel at a large truck stop that offers a cheaper price on gas if you pay cash.”

“Had the lunch special today, enchiladas with spanish rice, beans and homemade chips with homemade salsa. The salsa was awesome; the entree, not so much. My son and I split a piece of Butter Pecan cake with cream cheese frosting. I'd come back just for that 😉 our waitress was great, too”

“Absolutely loved it. For starters we had a fairly large order just as they were getting ready to close. Well a couple of our burgers were missing cheese, no big deal. Not only did the young man that took our order own up to it, but he went ahead and remade two entire meals! Then to top it off a woman who I assume was the manager came out, apologized and chatted for just a minute before finishing the closing of the restaurant. Not once was there an attitude of any sort. Yes there was a small mistake but it was taken care of for one, but the way it was taken care of showed great true character. Honestly wish I could give 10 stars!”

“You would think that most places in Texas have their brisket game tight. Not here. Brisket was awful. Ribs were good, sausage was good. Although much too watery, the gumbo was tasty with generous portions of sausage and pulled pork. The ambiance was nice, typical for places like this. The people working there were awesome. Everybody was very friendly and helpful.”

“Service excellent, food okay. I give it 3 stars because they rely on queso too much instead of real cheese. I ordered cheese enchiladas and didn't think to ask if it was made from shredded or grated cheese. Little did I know it was queso. Has I known, or had the menu specified, I'd have ordered differently. I'll return but I'll ask more questions before ordering.”
