We have friends that go here religiously and I now know why! The food is fantastic, great wine list, and the staff is so friendly. If we didn’t live so far away then we’d definitely be regulars too!
Food was very good but the service was slow and a bit confused. Wrong drinks brought and left on the table, food served to wrong person, server disappeared for a long time, water glasses never refilled, items ordered were never served. On a bright note, they now have a full bar. Would have been great if the server had kept track of who was ordering call liquor and who was ordering well.
I really, really like this place. I googled wine bars near me and am very happy I chose this one. Delicious food, good happy hour deals, and a good choice of wine, beer, and other drinks. The patio is relaxing, too. However, the water glass I was given was very dirty on one side, something I didn't notice until I'd had a few gulps, and also something I'd have thought the bartender should have seen as it was on her side. I also felt like she wasn't too happy to be helping me out, as if she was in a bad mood, which I get, but it affected how I felt while visiting. I'll be back, though!
Always loved dinner here, today was my first time for brunch. The chicken and waffles are just about the best I’ve ever had in my life. Coffee is top notch as well.
Tried this place out after reading how they'd made the top 100 list of romantic restaurants in the US. To start, the food and drinks were great, but we are truly baffled at how this place is considered a "romantic" destination. It lacked the ambiance I expected. We sat in an area on the other side of a windowed wall from the bar. What stuck us immediately after taking our seats was the noise. It was loud, which is the opposite of what I think of a "romantic" restaurant to be. It was almost like a diner - you could hear everyone around you talking, not in detail of course, but it just contributed to the overall noise level. And you could also hear the dishware being shuffled around. It was a perplexing experience. Like I said, great food and drinks, service was nice (we did feel rushed at times while trying to enjoy a four course meal but upon a little push back, our server let us progress at our own pace), and the decor is simple. But I would definitely not consider the setting "romantic". So factor that out and it's an enjoyable place to visit.
