This is a small, very informal restaurant. Right now they have crispy fried soft shell crab on the menu and it is utterly divine. I love it. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a really nice place. My husband and his friends go there for lunch quite often as they work nearby.

Good, authentic Thai food. I love the blends of spices. Be patient, they are a sit down "linger longer" style restaurant, not "dine-and-dash" (although they do offer take out if you call 45-60 minutes ahead).

Portions are large and you can get two (or more) servings from most entrees, so even though many dishes have a higher price tag, you're getting a good value for the food.

Thai foods have a wide range of flavor, and these foods are authentic. Foods are spiced very well, ranging from strong to weak. Spicy does not always mean hot, and if you're not familiar with Thai food the flavors and blends of some dishes may be stronger than you expect. Some dishes are hot, others are strongly sour, or sweet, or tangy, or salty, and some dishes are mild or bland. Traditionally, flavorful Thai dishes are served "family style" with everyone sharing with a blend of flavors at the table. A few bites of an hot curry, a few bites of a sweet & sour dish, a few bites of white rice, a mix of something tangy, alternate them all.

I particularly enjoy their gaeng pah, an hot soup-like curry, their blend of spices is amazing. Be aware that it is spicy hot and will make your sinuses run for about an hour, it includes is a distinctive blend of flavorful ingredients that I find deeply satisfying. This is not a sharp heat like a chili sauce that hits you behind the eyes, but a blend of veggies, peppers and strong herbs that warms the soul.

If you want something milder, Massaman curry is a meat-and-potatoes curry dish that sticks to your bones. Seafood dishes, noodle dishes, and and rice dishes are all tasty if curry isn't your preference, or if you're looking to round out a group dinner.

They have a singer/guitarist for live music every alternate Friday night. He sings classic rock and country songs, and takes requests. The music is a little odd for the atmosphere, but it is enjoyable.

Be patient and get there early. The food is prepared fresh and cooked to order, and many Thai dishes take time. During dinner rush on a busy Friday night you may wait up to an hour for your food, so have conversation topics ready. If you don't want to wait, go there mid-week. You'll get the longest waits Friday nights and weekends after 6:00.

I notice several poor reviews point out that if you get there late in the evening they denied orders for various reasons. This is true, don't arrive at closing time. The food is prepared fresh, so if you get there late in the evening on a busy Friday night they may be out of some specific veggies or other ingredients. They stop taking orders about 8:45. Again, this is not fast food nor a dine-and-dash restaurant.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this hidden gem and were absolutely surprised by how great everything was. You can tell this is a straight-to-the-point & authentic type of restaurant. What’s cool about this place is that they had a man perform that night and truly entertained us with his blues licks and harmonica kicks. (Boyfriend said that).. the young man who served us (sorry, I forgot your name) gave us the best recommendations and was absolutely spot on. We had spring rolls, chicken wings, a noodle dish with veggies, and a rice dish with chicken & everything was so flavorful and on point! We will definitely be back!

I have tried only a few dishes and I don't experiment much. Their Pad Ki Mow is the best. Red/Green curries are very good. Salad with peanut sauce dressing is very good as well. Basil Fried rice is very good too. Try to visit when they aren't extremely busy otherwise the taste sometimes takes a beating. Owner is also the head chef and he is good. Some staff isn't the most polite ones out there but I don't bother much about that.
