Ramen Tatsu-Ya

Looks good, smells good, taste alright. I came here with my wife for a quick Ramen fix. Honestly speaking it’s okay. I got the OG and the broth was decent but lacks a bit of depth.

Tatasu-Ya has other locations and this one doesn’t seem to measure up to the same caliber.

Fantastic Ramen! First, the broth was really delicious, there was an almost creaminess to it, it was thick and nutty and all around fantastic. Second, the noodles were cooked to perfection, I'm not sure if they are made in house, but it doesn't matter because they are very authentic and have that perfect Ramen noodle chewy texture. Third, the portion is great, I have the tendency to eat like I'm going on 500 pounds, and this was plenty for me, I was stuffed like an overstuffed teddy bear. My only real con was that there was a little too much spring onion for my liking. I like a little bit of spring onion just not 5 stocks worth in one bowl. Overall, I highly recommend, Tatsuya Ramen won't disappoint!

Always loved going to the one down on Research Blvd., but hated traveling from Cedar Park. O.M.G. it is now in Cedar Park! I had to try it. So, ordered the original bowl and it's just as amazing as always. As of today it was $12.50, same price as the current price on Research. Inflation sucks, but I'd rather give Ramen Tatsu-ya my business than any other I know. It is even better than many Ramen places I've had this summer in Taiwan! Totally would recommend and go back.

This location off of Lakeline is our favorite now. Too easy to hit 195 to 138 to 183 and be right there. Food is always good. Flavors always present and the staff is always friendly. The manager of the restaurant has been pleasant each time we've seen him. The restaurant is clean and peaceful.

One of our favorites in town and thankful that it's now at Lakeline. A few kinks in the ordering since they're new, but the management was on top of it. Can't go wrong with a bowl, and adding an egg or a spice bomb can be worth the charge. Not huge inside, but quaint, appropriately Japanese vibe. Cool.
