When I first moved to north Austin almost three years ago, I though that I had resigned myself to a wasteland of generic chain restaurants, and that I would have to drive south any time I wanted truly good food. Then I realized that I was living right down the street from Rome's Pizza. Before too long, this became my immediate go-to for nights I didn't feel like cooking, but also wanted something unique and satisfying. Rome's has everything you would expect from a neighborhood pizza joint, with a full menu of sandwiches, pasta, calzones, stromboli, surprisingly good Mediterranean specialties, and (of course) lots and lots of pizza. Pizzas are cooked to order, and they taste it- the crusts strike that perfect balance between solid and chewy, sauce and cheese are in perfect proportion, and the toppings are fresh and generously applied. Rome's has all of the standard pizzas, as well as a build-your-own option, but if you're feeling adventurous I'd recommend some of the more experimental pizzas they offer. The 4 Tenors, with fresh tomatoes instead of sauce, four types of cheese, and pine nuts, is very flavorful in its simplicity, and Tradition is the perfect love child of pizza and eggplant Parmesan. The Taj Mahal, an Indian-inspired pizza with garlic, chickpeas, jalapenos, and mozzarella, might sound eyebrow-raising, but the combination of ingredients, all drizzled with raisin-curry olive oil, really works. Prices are very reasonable, and they deliver within the neighborhood. If you live in north Austin, give Rome's Pizza a try over one of the same old chains. I guarantee you won't regret it.

Amazing service, great food, and great atmosphere. This is a great neighborhood pizza joint, and our family loves it! Just a tip, sign up for their online coupons and get their customer card. I never have to pay full price for anything!

Ok, Romes is just straight up awesome. Their customer service is well above expectations and their gluten free pizza is LITERALLY the best that we've had... and we've tried a lot of gluten free pizza!

Tried this place for the first time after buying a groupon type deal. Pretty good pizza with an excellent crust. A little pricey for pizza, but you get what you pay for.
