First time newcomers be warned, unless you sit at one of the tables outside, this is not a dine in restaurant. That isn't a complaint though, just a friendly heads up. We love this place and have been regulars ever since our first visit.”

“Nice little German restaurant in a small town about an hour northeast of Austin. Good food, the best red cabbage I've ever had (as random as that is), and great cheesecake that isn't as sweet as normal and has more of a cake-like texture. Very nice owners and staff, and they often have live music. A bit out of the way and in a cell phone dead zone, but definitely worth visiting. Reservations recommended if you're coming from Austin (it would be a long drive to find out there was no room), and mention how many slices of cheesecake you want when making the reservation as they can run out.”
