Smokey Mo's Bar-B-Q

I've liked Smokey Mo's ever since arriving in the Austin area. From what I've tasted, it's all pretty good. But the prices, I really wish they could hold down the prices, or even post up some specials for folks like me who don't have much to spend, but still enjoy good barbeque. Also, I wish they would just go ahead and serve beer at ALL locations. (I appreciate the byob thing, but don't always tote around a sixer of Ziegen Bock!). The staff at this Cedar Park location, I really can't say enough about them -- very friendly, very attentive! Great job, y'all!

Great service, great food, would eat at again

I love craft BBQ and would not normally eat at a chain like this. It is hit or miss normally. Today was real great. All locations have had great service. If they could be more consistent , I would rate them 4 stars. The brisket today was really good and the chicken was even better.

Delicious! The brisket had such a rich flavor and fell apart so sweetly. Just what I wanted. The staff are friendly and greeted me when I came in and when I left.

We love coming here, in fact my wife made the comment to me last night that we don't come here often enough! The dudes behind the counter seem to enjoy what they're doing and certainly do their part in making sure they have happy customers. The food is always great when I've been here. Some BBQ places are hit or miss, but my moist brisket last night was about as perfect as I could expect it to be. Marbling wasn't excessive, the charred exterior was the right amount for me and the meat practically fell apart as I scooped it up. I'm drooling as I think about this!
