Just here in town for a wedding and stumbled across this wonderful restaurant! First of all, the service was great Diana our waitress, was so welcoming and sweet!!! I got the shrimp and grits which I have to say was absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend this place
Meh! The ambiance is great but the food took a really long time to get to us. The server tried to blame it on a new expediter/food runner, but there were only a few customers even there. Not sure where a food runner would even be needed. When the food arrived it is your standard suburban/watered down version of the real thing. I suppose they are trying to appeal to a broad audience or the rent is so high that they have to sacrifice ingredients to keep food cost down. I will give one more chance in the future and I will update this review
The service was good and they weren't crazy busy even though it was a Friday afternoon. Their chicken fried steak was reasonably good. Better than many of my recent ones, though not a five star dish. Still, really good. The place is cozy and plenty of cute decorations. Also, the bathroom was really nice as well.
Food was so good! Mid priced, and worth it! If you want Southern Cajun food then definitely try this place. They have an amazing breakfast. The cooks take pride in their cooking and I noticed them bringing out some of the dishes themselves to make sure it was to your liking. Location was busy, but the wait wasn’t too bad at all. They serve great alcoholic drinks too, but they are a bit pricey. Worth it... but pricey. Staff is super friendly and helpful even at their busiest times. Restaurant was clean and kept that way even during a rush.
Came here on a Wednesday morning.
It was busy but not over crowded.
Seemed they were a little under staffed.
The waitress was working it though, very attentive.
We ordered Belgian waffles with a side of chicken stripes and Bacon, and the Texas omelet with two biscuits.
It hit the spot and there was plenty to take home
