Never had Peruvian food in my life but now I know I love it. 10/10
We’ve never had a Peruvian-Asian infusion, but it did not disappoint. We ordered Lomo Saltado and it was delicious! Don’t judge the plate at first glance — the flavor profile is amazing! If I had to give any suggestions, I would say to add a few more tomatoes, but I’m a huge fan of tomatoes 😂….. The food was filling, but not at all heavy. Very good food — would recommend stopping here to give it a try! We will be back!
I am Peruvian, and the fusion was excellent. For a moment, I thought I was in Peru.
The cashiers were so kind and the food was very enjoyable!
First and foremost, if you've never tried Peruvian food before, you're in for a treat!
This is a new food truck based at The Crossover in Cedar Park, and I'm so glad we're getting some variety of food in the area now. They specialize in fusing Peruvian and Asian food together, and there's a bit of something for everyone on the menu.
I ordered La Tejana today, and it did not disappoint. This is a sushi roll they call “makis”, and it has a steak and avocado base with chimichurri sauce and jalapeños. The fries with chimichurri was also a win for me.
The Crossover does get busy some days. Today was no exception, so there might be a wait, but it was worth it. At night, they also play traditional Peruvian music. I'll be back with the fam.
