Amazing place. The owners were happy to walk us through the menu, answer any questions, and even give us samples. The food and service was terrific. It's just awesome that they make everything in house from scratch. We will be back many times.
Wonderful food! Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. The kielbasa was the best I've ever tasted. Loved visiting this little business where there is clearly so much pride and care in the food they create.
Food is pretty darn good, service is very friendly. Not a whole lot of seating, but it wasn't busy. Definitely consider when ordering take-out. Try the apple sauce, it is AMAZING. Sandwiches use sliced, cooked and uncured kielbasa, the brat uses a cured link of meat (see below). The menu hiding between the middle and left menu uses pork or ham, mostly. And apparently they started a breakfast menu on Saturday mornings.
Ziggy's Kielbasa House is fantastic. Found in a small strip mall off 183 in Leander it can be tricky to spot while driving, but is well worth finding. They smoke all the meat in house and make all the sides as well. The sandwiches are the true stand out here. They have made some wonderful combinations of ingredients to produce a truly unique and flavorful product. We had the Squealer and the Boxer. Both were delightful. The house coleslaw is something special, they make it with their sauerkraut as the base. We also really enjoyed the chunky homemade applesauce and refreshingly creamy Polish Veggie Salad. We'll definitely be back soon!
We love Ziggy's! We've dined in and carried out from here, and the food is always delicious. My favorite is the Snowball, with Polish veggie salad and homemade apple sauce on the side. They mix in fun flavors all over the menu - go for the Mr Jones if you like a Reuben or the Moses if you want something more like a Philly.
They fit a lot of cute decor into a cozy little spot, and the owners and staff are friendly and helpful.
