La Margarita Restaurante

Went on a Saturday night with the wife and baby. Not too terribly crowded, was able to get a table as we entered. Were offered a high chair. Appetizer was awesome, highly recommend the queso. Food came out hot and in a good amount of time. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. Would definitely go again.

We had a going away party here for my girlfriends best friend because she was moving to Hawaii. Anyway, the food was good. The margs were great. But the service was unprecedented. Would recommend you order the entire private section in the back. You will be treated by the best server in the city of Austin. I forget her name but she was exceptional! Also, get the Don. It will rock your world.

Waitress was nice and prompt. They were busy but food came out quick and drinks were great as well. All around great experience! Would return again.

I liked the Mexican cuisine in non tourist area of Mexico when I was there.

But Tex-Mex isn't my thing, and Mexican food in the US is usually not my thing, either. And I don't like spicy food. But La Margarita is an exception!!

Every dish I tried so far has been very delicious and reminds me of what I had in Mexico...my host family's cooking, the restaurants the locals go to, etc.

At La Margarita, I've done both dining in and take out. Servers are all friendly and attentive so far.

Take out has been really great as well... though once in awhile, when they are really busy, my order is not ready when I get there. But that's rare.

I'm really happy with their staff and food. I just wish they were within 5 min from me!
