First time ordering from this place. I like that there's more on the menu rather than standard American fake Chinese food.

Our order was delivered promptly. The food was hot.

However, it loses one star because of the online ordering experience. It didn't indicate that the entrees come with rice, so I ordered it separately & unnecessarily. Also, it doesn't designate the level of heat a dish will have, so I put in the notes for the dish that I wanted one dish mild & the other spicy. They were both there same level of spiciness upon delivery.

Ordered lamb dry pot. This is the dish I wanted mild. Ordered Sichuan spicy chicken. Asked that this be extra spicy. Both dishes were there same level of spice (spicy, nose running, cough inducing, water-makes-it-worse). The point of ordering in was to avoid making a mess in the kitchen, but I had to make some egg drop soup to supplement what we received because I simply couldn't eat it because it was so hot.

This place is awesome!. I've eaten a lot of Sichuan food as of lately and this place has vibrant flavors, huge portion sizes and a reasonable cost which is everything I look for in any good restaurant.
The # 11 “Sliced Fish w/ house special sauce” is the best rendition I've had anywhere. Not overwhelming with the chili oil, tender fish fillets are poached in there with a ton of chillies, some sliced cucumbers w/ fresh minced garlic for some bite. It's surprisingly light for what it looks like and is a dish I could eat for days and multiple meals. Hands down the best flounder I have ever had… I also has the pleasure to try the “Stir Fried Beef”, absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to return…..

Awesome food and service. Small and family run. They can get a bit backed up at times especially Friday nights. But the food is worth the wait. Try ordering off the Sichuan menu. It's the closest to original Sichuan flavors around here in Austin. You probably need to go to a Chinatown to find something that will beat this flavor. Our food was a bit delayed on Friday night but the owner kept coming to our table and apologized and offered more water.

I can’t understand the low reviews on this place. It’s in small neighborhood Chinese restaurant that we’ve been going to for close to 10 years. I understand it’s under new management in the last year but we still patronize this establishment at least 1 to 2 times a month. My children like the food, the service is wonderful, they are very accommodating and you can pick it up or have it delivered. They remember me when I call, they are sweet people and the food is good. I have been late and they have stayed open for me. I have changed orders at the last minute and they have always been accommodating. My children are always delighted when I suggest Chinese food for dinner and they are the very pickiest of eaters. This is their favorite neighborhood Chinese restaurant and they eat everything on their plates. Tonight we are celebrating the Lunar New Year with dumplings and sweet and sour chicken. Simple fare that I know will satisfy their hunger and will be eaten. They even eat the vegetables so this momma has zero complaints and a lot of praise for this restaurant where the owners and staff always remember me, the cost is reasonable, the food is consistently good and prepared quickly.
