Outstanding food that is actually prepared
After eating here so often I can no longer stomach the microwave / pre-prepped meals served at places like Applebees.
My wife, sister, and I had Greenhouse recommend to us by a member of our church. He told us if you want a quality farm to table food experience without breaking the bank wide open, search no further. And boy, was he right! I had the chicken/bacon/grits, my wife had the Turkey club and my sister had the BLT. I was born in Georgia so grits are something that I've eaten my entire life and I love them with a passion. When I tell you that these guys made some of the best grits I've had outside of Charleston please believe me????????! So good! Everything was amazing, right down to their handcrafted sodas. 15/10 would definitely recommend and we will be back!
This restaurant is AMAZING!! The food is the best thing ever. My husband and I LOVE everything on the menu, they bend over backward to make sure he doesn’t get anything he is allergic to, and the staff is SO kind and helpful!
Their food is fantastic, when it's prepared correctly... But there lies the issue.
I go to Greenhouse frequently because my family loves it, and I do too when they get the order right. But my order has been wrong the last 5 or 6 times I've been there.
Because I have an autoimmune disease there are certain foods i cannot eat, like spicy foods. I order the yardbird without the honey chipotle sauce, but tell them i want all of the other items that come on the sandwhich. However, most of the time I get a bun with a grilled chicken breast on it, without anything else (no tomato, lettuce, queso fresco, or pickles.)
My wife keeps telling me to stop ordering from there, and I think I finally agree with her.
I love having a farm to table eatery in my neighborhood.
The staff is friendly. The setup is mostly self-service, but I still leave feeling taken care of.
But let's talk about those brunch biscuits. They looked so delicious. And maybe sometimes they are? Mine was dry & crunchy. It was either overworked at dough stage or not properly stored after baking.
I'm still going to stop by every chance I get during the week. The fish & chips with a cold beer really hits the spot ????????????????
