WiseGuys A Chicago Eatery-Round Rock

Live music and the food was good. I didn't dine in and my takeout was ready in 10 minutes, I enjoyed the classic music while waiting for my food. Cool pics of all old mafia characters.

Raised in Chicago with the true Chicago Beef sandwiches from Portillos. We happen to find WiseGuys during a restaurant search near us. If you crave that authentic taste - go there. You will not be disappointed.
PS: I have not tried the Chicago Dogs yet, that will be several trips later, when I get tired of the beef!

This is the real deal!!! Finally some comfort food from back home! The Chicago Dog was great and yes "no ketchup"! My husband had The Italian Beef and loved it! They ask you wet or dry like back home!

I've eaten at WiseGuys a few times now, and it keeps getting better and better. This is not a place you go if you're counting calories, unless you want to use up a few days allotment in one meal. The food portions are generous and the staff is super friendly. Depending on when you go, you may find someone int he corner belting out Frank Sinatra tunes, and the staff may just as often be dressed in early Flapper or gangster attire. The decor matches. This place is a guilty pleasure.

I am a Chicago gal through and through. If there is one thing I know best about Chicago, it’s the food and this restaurant did not disappoint. By far one of the best Italian beef sandwiches that I’ve ever had. My boyfriend said it was better than Portillo’s. We will definitely be regular customers. Thank you for giving me a taste of home!
